Fiber – Body Effects
When most people think about fiber, they instantly think of better bowel functions, but there are many more benefits of increasing one’s fiber intake than just keeping you regular. The FDA recommends a daily intake of 20 to 30 grams of fiber and research shows that ingesting 27 grams per day will decrease the risk of heart disease and heart attacks.
